Protection has to travel with each file as content moves through the pipeline — and it has to stay fast enough not to slow real-time streaming. AKRUM does both: file-level encryption that follows the asset, tuned so it never becomes the bottleneck.
The AKRUM solution

AKRUM applies encryption at the level of each individual file, protecting digital assets throughout production, storage, and distribution. Every file is encrypted client-side with AES-256-GCM using keys drawn from AKRUM's cellular-automata entropy engine, and can be shared through zero-knowledge links, meaning AKRUM never sees the contents.
Encryption is optimized so it never slows real-time delivery, and we're moving to post-quantum standards (hybrid ML-KEM-768 + X25519 for AKRUM-to-AKRUM sharing) with cryptographic agility.
